Cemal Kara

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemal Kara graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 1998 and completed his surgical specialization between 2003–2008 at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, 3rd Surgical Clinic. He began his career as a general practitioner at Ardanuç Central Health Center in Artvin, then served as a military physician in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. After working at Trabzon 112 Emergency Service, he continued his career as a surgical specialist at Karşıyaka State Hospital and later at Sada Hospital for many years. Since 2018, he has held the title of Associate Professor. After gaining experience in private practice, he joined Medical Park İzmir Hospital in 2024. Fluent in English, Dr. Kara is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, the Aegean Surgical Society, and the Izmir Medical Chamber.
